Your career. Your potential.
Your time to EMERGE.
EMERGE connects Africa’s next generation of professionals with the skills, networks, and real opportunities they need to grow into leadership and shape the future of work.
EMERGE is a career acceleration platfrom delivered by TheBoardroom Africa.
Africa is the world’s youngest continent, and its 25–35 cohort is ready to step up. But too many talented professionals hit a wall: no structured development, no access to the right networks, no clear pathway forward. EMERGE bridges that gap. Through practical skills-building, personalised development, and direct connections to employers, we help young professionals build the careers they are capable of, and open doors that should have been open all along.
01
Skills that travel
Practical, competency-based development designed around the realities of African workplaces, building the self-awareness, decision-making, and execution skills that employers actually need.
02
Real employer connections
We work directly with employers to co-create opportunities, surface talent fairly, and create clearer pathways from development into meaningful roles – not just job listings, but genuine career progression.
03
Access for everyone
We actively prioritise women, refugees, and underrepresented professionals, because the barriers to career growth are not evenly distributed, and neither should be the support.
Membership
EMERGE is for African professionals aged 25–35 who are ready to invest in their careers and take the next step. Whether you’re looking to grow in your current field, make a move into a better role, or simply get the support and community you’ve never had access to, this is built for you. Members receive structured development, peer circles, career resources, employer challenges, and access to a talent marketplace connecting them to real opportunities at quality organisations.
Partners
We work with employers, ecosystem stakeholders, and funders to expand career opportunities across Africa. Whether you’re looking to hire diverse talent, shape the skills pipeline your industry needs, or invest in a model that creates measurable impact, EMERGE gives you the infrastructure, the network, and the tools to do it with intention.
